  • The AWT100 series from Acrel is a modular data conversion platform that seamlessly transforms RS485 serial communications into multiple wireless protocols for industrial IoT deployments.

    The WiFi-enabled variant stands out by creating transparent bidirectional data tunnels between legacy MODBUS RTU devices and standard 2.4GHz wireless networks, eliminating costly infrastructure overhauls. This compact DIN-rail unit independently polls up to 25 downstream instruments, processes register data across five address domains, and transmits it to cloud platforms via existing WiFi infrastructure. Advanced features include autonomous data collection with customizable intervals, granular alarm monitoring with ten programmable thresholds, and plug-and-play integration requiring minimal configuration. Operating at 115200bps, it delivers responsive performance for real-time energy management, building automation, and remote telemetry applications.

    With robust surge immunity, wide temperature tolerance (-10°C to 55°C), and flexible power options (24VDC or 220VAC), the AWT100-WiFi provides a reliable, cost-effective wireless gateway where wired connectivity proves impractical or prohibitively expensive.
