ARTU Remote Terminal Units—built for smart power-distribution automation—pack enterprise-grade intelligence into a 35 mm DIN-rail slice only 90 mm deep. The ARTU100 series offers 8-way client/server connectivity that lets you mix local I/O expansion and upstream SCADA on the same rail without extra gateways. Field devices wire straight to 16 digital inputs, 8 relay outputs, 8 universal analog channels (0-20 mA / 0-10 V / RTD) while two independent, 10/100 Mbit auto-sensing Ethernet ports—each supporting both IPv4 and IPv6—provide redundant ring-topology communication or simultaneous IT/OT network separation. An isolated RS485 port handles Modbus-RTU master/slave, polling 32 devices at 115 kbps and transparently tunneling them over TCP to any IPv6-ready DCS or cloud broker. Optional 2G/4G or LoRa radios slide into the side bay for last-mile wireless backhaul, keeping the unit online when copper or fiber is impossible. Built-in MQTT, IEC 60870-5-104 shorten integration to minutes.
