ByteDance, a leading technology company, is constructing the Volcanic Cloud Taixing Compute Power Center in Datong, Shanxi.

This massive project spans 537.1 mu (approximately 35.8 hectares), featuring 10 data center buildings, 2 comprehensive buildings, and 2 substations (110kV and 220kV). It can accommodate 600,000 high-performance servers, with D1-D4 data center buildings already under construction.

In the first phase, D1 has 592 row head cabinets, while the second phase includes D2 and D3 with 432 row head cabinets.

The total amount for this project is more than 1,000,000 CNY.
