GarudaFood, a leading Indonesian food and beverage manufacturer, produces high-quality products for consumers nationwide. With 10 factories across Indonesia, the company required a centralized energy monitoring solution to track consumption and optimize operational costs.
Acrel implemented a cost-effective solution featuring:
- Multi-circuit three-phase energy meters
- LoRa and WiFi gateways
- Cloud-based IoT platform
This system enables real-time, centralized energy monitoring across all facilities. The total project investment was approximately US$100,000.

Customer Pain Points
1. Multiple factory subsystems cannot connect to the headquarters system through a unified port:
Due to the need for headquarters to calculate production costs, the quickest way is to directly obtain them from the factory SCADA system. However, as multiple factories have multiple SCADA systems, ports need to be customized, which is not conducive to centralized management
2. Excessive electricity consumption:Due to the inability of the factory to monitor the electricity consumption of each circuit in real time, many loads have increased their electricity consumption due to aging, which increases production costs and sometimes even exceeds the load

• Help RS485 energy meter to have LoRa or WIFI communication, 1 pc gateway max can connect 30 pcs energy meter
Software: Acrel IoT Energy Management Platform
• Enables centralized monitoring of all project meters with real-time data visualization
• Provides voltage and current trend analysis, and intelligent fault alarm notifications
• Supports multi-level user access and device geolocation mapping
